In Matthew 5:14 Jesus says, “You are the light of the world.” The light of Christ shines through us most in the darkest places. Just as Jesus tells us to “Let your light shine before others.” Where are you showing your good deeds and glorifying your Father in heaven? Like Victor, you may be the first to do it in that place. And even if you are not, Christ’s light will shine brighter.
