As a sixteen year old, Sheryl Kozuma was a runaway and lived on the streets. She’d sleep in life guard stands of Waikiki. It led to a downward spiral in her lifestyle. How would she ever get out of this pattern of living? A pastor over heard of her predicament and welcomed her into his family. It was there, for the first time, that Sheryl witnessed what a Christian home was like. Seeds of hope were planted into the soil of her heart. Though it took years she eventually surrendered her life to Christ. Her life radically changed by God, her career in health care and business has blessed many.
Psalm 82:3 says, “Defend the weak and the fatherless.” That pastor did and look at what happened!
