Leo Bogee grew up in Gary, Indiana. His father was his biggest influence. He shares what he learned starting with a surprise in the military. Many men didn’t grow up with fathers. As a result, they lacked the instinctual guidance produced by godly fathering. Wisdom is more than knowledge. It’s the ability to use what you know for positive results. God transfers his wisdom through godly fathers. Proverbs 4:1-5 says, “Listen, my sons, to a father’s instruction; lay hold of my words with all your heart; keep my commands and you will live. Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or swerve from them.” A word to all men. As fathers, let’s seek God’s wisdom and pass it on. As children. Let’s be attentive.
