Roy Sakuma is an innovator and pioneer in teaching the ukulele – influential in its popularity today. This happened to him as a boy. Roy remembers the police and the ambulance arriving and seeing them take his brother away in a straight jacket. However, the part that was most difficult for him was that after a couple weeks, he would be released from the hospital and return home. Roy would shake, afraid to close his eyes and go to sleep. He lovingly shares with audiences today (especially young people) how God helped him through his childhood to a thriving career.
