Kim Meeder ran to an open field hoping to escape the reality of her parent’s murder suicide. Here’s what she did and who she called for help. Just falling down into the dirt, she cried out to the Lord, “Jesus will you help me now?” Kim says, “At that time in my life I didn’t even know who Jesus was. Yet intuitively, it doesn’t matter who you are, how you’ve been raised or what you’ve been taught. When your heart is breaking you know to run to the one who made that heart.” As an adult, she knows that the Lord of all creation came down and Jesus knelt in the dirt beside a breaking child and took the hand of the little child reaching out to him. And as Hebrews 13:5 says, Jesus has never left her. Are you hurting? It’s your time to reach out to him!
