Grace Alarcio was born in Haiti and later lived in Pennsylvania when this took place. She admits, “I was not patient with my children.” Grace explained how her anger would vent fiercely on those she loved and left her both guilty and with a yearning for change. Anger and guilt are very powerful emotions, which, put together often turn into rage. The scorch of which is severe. When Grace and her family moved to Washington, her pastor helped her. She connected her outbursts to events of abandonment when she was a child. Through prayer and forgiveness she received God’s healing. Grace changed. Acts 10:38 tells us Jesus came “healing all that were oppressed…” Are your inner struggles causing despair? There’s hope in Jesus Christ.
