Dave Barr was quickly making his way up the corporate ladder. There was a yearning in his heart, however, for more. He explains, “It was at age 25 when I was in California, I was so backslidden I wouldn’t go to church but four or five times a year. My life was going good. You hear so many people come to Christ when their life’s really down, but, my life was going good. My job was blessed, I had great relationships, I asked one of my co-workers, “Are there any churches near where I live in Mission Viejo?” Dave proceeded to visit that church and a domino effect transpired. One act of faith can be the trigger to living the life you were destined to live. “But,” you say, “how do I get there?” Like Dave, take the initiative. Go to Jesus. Acts 17:26-27 says, God determined the times set for us and the exact places where we should live. The Lord did this so that we would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him. God has a reason why you are where you. Seek him and find out more!
