Fred Rodi owns a multiple million dollar company that many large businesses rely on. Early on he was forced to evaluate his priorities. He says, “At that time I was not doing well as a father and a husband. On top of that, I realized I was not equipped to be a leader in the company.” He prayed, “God, can you help me!” He didn’t want to chase after his dreams and forget about his family because it would all be for nought.” When his dreams were becoming realized his future success could not be solely contingent on money. Yes, it came as result of providing first-class service to his clients, but, financial success was not his ultimate goal. God had a loftier purpose. Fred stated, “I didn’t want to be the richest man in the cemetery.” Jesus said in Luke 12:34, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Seeking Christ first has made him a better husband, father, business owner and friend!
