Ryan Malaluan is a businessman and instructor of mixed martial arts. He talks about a turning point in his life. He was involved in the party scene, experienced divorce, witnessed the effects on his children and hit a low period. A friend encouraged him to find a church instead of sitting at home watching TV on Sundays. One day, Ryan attended a church and stood outside waiting. A member of the pastoral staff introduced himself and invited Ryan to join a small group of men. They connected with him. Through years of fellowship and service he’s grown to be spiritual leader. Today, he and his wife, Zenny, are part of a church planting team in Las Vegas. Hebrews 13:2 says, “Don’t forget to show hospitality to strangers,…” Do people feel welcomed when they visit your church? Be on the lookout to connect with someone this week.
